Shop to Stop Domestic Violence
People love to donate money to help other people, but sometimes they feel like they would like to engage more in that process. With that in mind, we offer three great opportunities for both donors and consignors to participate in our wonderfully popular resell stores: My Sister's Closet and My Sister's Attic. Read below for more details on how each store operates.
CLOTHING AND HOME GOODS
For 26 years, My Sister’s Closet, an upscale resale women’s apparel boutique, has featured gently loved & new clothing donated from Fashionistas and area businesses of Greenville and surrounding communities!
It features everything you need to complete the perfect outfit! Designer Diva-ing on a Dime is what we’re about!
Doubling as a closet for our clients in need, My Sister’s Closet
also generates funding for much needed services, programs, and emergency assistance.
Donations can be received on Wednesdays and Saturdays during regular business hours only.

In response to funding cuts, the Center for Family Violence Prevention opened My Sister’s Attic in February of 2013 as a means to increase revenue to support our programs and services.
DONATIONS

Consignments may be delivered after your appointment has been confirmed with MSA staff. (Deliveries of consignment items are scheduled appointments between 10:00-4:00)

Must be functional, but we can make it pretty

May require light repair, we have a handy-man or two to help with that
- Free furniture donation pick-up may be available
CONSIGNMENT
- Consignments are accepted on Mondays and Wednesdays by appointment only.
- To consign, a consignor contract must be completed.
- Items must be sale-ready; requiring no cleaning or repair.
- Scheduled pick-ups are available for a fee
- Seasonal items are accepted depending on time of year
- Items can be consigned up to 90 days and are subject to price reduction every 30 days.
- Consignor may opt to donate items at end of the period.
- Consignors are responsible for pick up of items after
consignment period is over. - Consignor split is 50%.
- Consignors are encouraged to provide a completed items list, prior to pick up or delivery of items to ensure proper processing.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED
- Used Mattresses, Box Springs, or Bed Pillows
- Stuffed Animals
- Broken Items
- Opened containers containing liquid, solids, or food items.
- Opened packages of paper products
- Box/Tube Televisions
- Exercise equipment
- Small Appliances
