Outpatient Adult Counseling

Individual and Group Counseling

We all experience challenging times in our lives. Our day-to-day challenges can present anything from mild irritation
to severe anxiety (or worse). We offer individual and group counseling to adults from diverse populations. A good step toward healing is to have an objective party offering a professionally experienced perspective.

Our counselors are trained in several specialties, including trauma-focused care, anxiety disorders (e.g. PTSD, social anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, generalized anxiety, OCD), domestic violence, relationship issues, bipolar disorder, depression, LGBTQ issues, grief and loss, and many others). Counselors also assist clients with enhancing self-esteem and developing stress management and assertiveness skills.

Currently, domestic violence survivors receive priority access to counseling services. Insurance is not accepted, but a sliding fee scale and local grant opportunity may be available making it affordable for most clients. For clients experiencing domestic violence issues, counselors often seek the assistance of on-site victim advocates to help with law enforcement and legal concerns. Counselors also make appropriate referrals to community agencies.

Specialized Classes

Domestic Violence 101 (DV 101)

DV 101 is a 5-6 session curriculum designed to help domestic violence survivors become more aware of the nature, myths, types, phases, and impact of domestic violence. Survivors also learn potential red fl ags of abusive behavior and distinction between healthy and unhealthy relationships.
